About Bart Larson

Bart Larson is a native of Kansas and holds a degree in art from Kansas State University.
He and his wife, Phyllis, live in the beautiful small town of Westphalia, Missouri in the Ozark Hills. Bart has worn many hats in his life: pastor, Christian bookstore owner, chaplain in psychiatric hospitals, and for the last 16 years has been a hospice chaplain (working with the terminally ill). He is also a recognized photographer, having been featured in "Popular Photography Magazine." His work has appeared in many calendars, magazines, posters, cards, photo prints, etc.

In the movie Chariots of Fire, Eric Liddell said, "God made me fast. I feel his pleasure when I run." Bart says he too feel that pleasure as a chaplain, photographer and writer. Click on "My Story" to read about his spiritual journey.
